Why spool price alone isn't the answer
A $22 spool doesn't mean much per print until it's broken down to a price per gram, since almost no print uses a whole spool. Divide the spool price by its net weight (usually 1000g, sometimes 750g or 500g on smaller reels) to get a per-gram rate, then multiply by whatever your slicer says the model will actually use. That per-gram rate is also the number worth comparing when a "deal" spool from a new brand is actually priced lower than what you already buy.
What this doesn't include
